We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical HR Solutions Functional Tester / QA to join our growing team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our HR technology solutions.
Position Summary
The HR Solutions Functional Tester / QA will be responsible for validating HR software applications, ensuring business requirements are accurately implemented, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of HR processes and hands-on experience in software testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business and functional requirements related to HR systems and applications.
Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Validate HR modules including:
Employee Management
Recruitment & Onboarding
Leave & Attendance
Performance Management
Payroll Integration
Benefits Administration
Learning & Development
Identify, document, and track software defects using defect management tools.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and HR stakeholders to resolve issues.
Participate in requirement review sessions to identify gaps and testability concerns.
Conduct data validation and ensure data integrity across HR platforms.
Prepare test reports and provide quality metrics to project stakeholders.
Support deployment activities and post-release validation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in Functional Testing, QA, or Software Testing.
Experience testing HRIS, HCM, Payroll, ATS, or Workforce Management systems.
Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Experience creating and executing test cases and defect reports.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with HR platforms such as:
Workday
SAP SuccessFactors
Oracle HCM
UKG
ADP
BambooHR
Microsoft Dynamics HR
Knowledge of API testing and integration testing.
Experience using testing tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar platforms.
ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is an advantage.
Understanding of HR compliance, payroll regulations, and workforce processes.
